Video: “This is Depression” By Inspire and Thrive

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Depression: I am sure many have felt some of these feelings throughout their lifetime. I know I have…I still struggle with a couple of these symptoms daily, such as brain fog, body aches and pains, and having a short fuse, mostly since I have other issues that give me the same symptoms. I am still a bit isolated, mostly as I choose to be.

I enjoy watching these videos; they help me learn about myself and my own struggles, and I am sure they will help you. I learn something new every day, which helps me understand myself more and move forward in life.

Depression is a master of disguise. It isn’t always crying or the sadness we see in movies. Sometimes, it shows up as anger 😠, bone-deep exhaustion 😴, a “brain fog” that makes it hard to think, or just feeling completely empty.

It can even feel like physical aches and pains that have no other cause.

In this video, we’re pulling back the curtain and breaking down the many signs of depression, one by one. No confusing medical jargon, just real, straightforward talk to help you understand this complex condition better—whether it’s for you or for someone you care about.
