Hubby and I had a fantastic time on Saturday, June 14, 2025, fishing at Fourth Pond in the Gould’s. It is the first time in this spot, and I found it very peaceful there. We found this little spot that was great for us.
I sat for most of it in the camp chair I take with me, listening to the birds. I did cast a few times, but standing for too long in one spot was rough that day. I don’t mind, I was outside. Being outside in nature is what these trips are all about. Staring at the sky, watching the clouds pass, and listening to the birds chirping is very relaxing.
I hope you enjoy seeing some of the awesome scenery we have here in NL, and if you want to see some videos I took that day, you are welcome to check them out on Facebook! There is even a video showing baby fish, which I call “pricklies”. …lol
There is no better way to spend a Saturday afternoon, and as long as the weather holds, hubby and I will go fishing at different spots every weekend. Such is the life in Newfoundland and Labrador, and I am happy and very grateful to have it.
