How A Narcissist Sabotages Your Success

How A Narcissist Sabotages Your Success
Reading Time: 3 minutes

“I am going to put you through so much stress that it will be impossible for you to succeed. You end up living in constant survival mode and hoping to just pull through.”

This quote perfectly captures the psychological warfare narcissists wage. It’s not just about control—it’s about dismantling your ability to function, to thrive, to succeed. I know this tactic well. I’ve lived it. I am very thankful that I could retire from working; it was one less thing I had to worry about.

Over the past nine years, I’ve been hypervigilant about my name appearing online. Toxic tenants from my former workplace—individuals who couldn’t accept accountability for their eviction—used personal information they gained through legal applications to launch a smear campaign against me and my family. They twisted facts, weaponized my trauma, and published content designed to humiliate and destabilize me. They had no right to share personal information they gained during a legal proceeding.

They didn’t just want to win a dispute. They wanted to destroy my peace of mind.

By using the 7 domains they created, listed below, they set out to try and destroy my personal and professional life. I also know they created other sites against other people and businesses they got mad at. Thankfully, all of these websites are no longer available for access, though some still exist. The contents were nasty, filled with false allegations.

Oh, Look! I’m Famous Enough to Be a Domain Name Ransom Target! – Stella Reddy’s Story of Hope

The Facts

The Tenants lost the eviction in October 2017 for interference with the Landlord’s interests by persistently refusing access for repairs, and created 859kennedyroad.com in November 2017. (This site is no longer registered.)

They lost the Appeal in April 2019 and made stellareddy.com with the rest that followed…davidstrashin.com, sjtomemberkevinlundy.com, sjtomembervandanapatel.com and socialjusticetribunals.ca.

They walked away from HRTO in January 2020 and made another site, socialjusticetribunals.ca, in June 2020. (This domain was cancelled in June 2022.)

I moved away and left Ontario in 2020, and they made lorriereddy.com in July 2022 to follow me, once they found my new Facebook and where I was living.

I received a threatening email from them on June 27, 2022, which I took to my local Police with evidence of this new domain. After an investigation over a few months, they found no criminal charges could be laid, but I am content that now the Police are aware of the situation. As far as I know, their antics online are being monitored.

Legal Actions

Their behaviour was textbook narcissism: manipulation, projection, and relentless attempts to control the narrative. They used the legal system not for justice, but as a stage for their abuse. And when that wasn’t enough, they took it online—dragging my name through the mud in a desperate attempt to silence me.

But I refused to stay silent.

Living in survival mode became my reality. Every day was a battle to protect my identity, my truth, and my mental health. The stress was overwhelming, but I’ve learned to recognize it for what it is: a tactic. A distraction. A trap.

This site is my response. It’s my truth. It’s where I expose the toxic traits that tried to define me—and where I reclaim my voice. If you’ve been targeted by narcissists, know this: their chaos is not your destiny. You can rise. You can heal. And you can speak out.
