The Most Important Decision I will make today… Is To Be In A Good Mood

Happy Friday!! It is Celebration Time!

I had some issues with my site yesterday, so I made some changes. It took me most of the day to move my site, but I am almost all done getting it up once again. I am grateful I learned so much over the past few years about blogging and the internet! In the process, I lost the last 3 posts I did. I will repost if I can.

In the meantime, I thought I would write one of my rambling posts to let you know what’s been going on in my life. I am in a really good mood, as I have so many things I am grateful for.

Celebration Time

Right off the bat, I want you to know how ecstatic I am over the deletion of the domain adult bullies created in my name in April 2019, where they smeared me, stellareddy.com. It is in a 30 redemption as the bully didn’t renew it. By the end of June, it will be deleted, followed by davidstrashin.com. These are the last of the domains made that contained my name in the contents. I find that awesome!

As I have said numerous times, all things will end in time, even nasty smear campaigns!

I am also happy about finally getting approved for the Disability Tax Credit (DTC) that Canada offers people like me. It helps with the taxes I have to pay at tax time. I am grateful for the many services Canada offers its citizens!

The application process for the DTC is not easy, and it is long. Your Doctor needs to understand your disabilities and be able to explain how they are affecting your quality of life. It has taken me 10 months and is finally at an end! I am so happy it is all done!

Hubby and I are going to celebrate all these wonderful things going on this weekend! I celebrate every win I get, no matter how small it is, but these are big ones, so we are going out!

Weekend Plans

We are off fishing again tomorrow. Hubby and I try to go fishing every weekend, as long as the weather cooperates. We switch it up every trip, checking out a different place. Not sure where we are going tomorrow, but I am sure it will be a great time!

We pack a lunch, and take lots of water! I don’t forget bug spray, as the flies are terrible and also take sunscreen. I have a folding chair I take to sit on, too. I can’t stand in place for too long anymore, but I still have fun. I love fishing and find it so relaxing. Nothing like being outside in Nature, I find it so helpful.

Social Media

I’ve been spending too much time on X, following the posts on the US government antics. The US is in a Dictatorship. Yes, I have been commenting but have slacked off the past couple of days.

It is depressing, as I feel so bad for the American people. I am so very grateful I don’t live there, though. I recognize so many narcissistic traits shown by the US President and his cronies that I have learned about the past few years. Some of the behaviour I have seen was a trigger for me, but I have learned how to minimize it. Another thing to celebrate!

Government Policies

I have faith that Canada’s government will do all it can to take care of Canadians during this shitshow put on by the US government. Prime Minister Carney seems to know what we need to do!

We have expanded our trade with other Countries and we are opening up interprovincial trade, to make it easier to sell to other Provinces in Canada. The coming months will be interesting to see…

I am not too worried about the Tariffs, as I think they will be deemed illegal in the US courts and it will all be reversed. Time will tell…

Summer Vacations

Hubby and I have been making plans for his vacation time this summer! He has a week off next month, and another week in August for our Anniversary. Arranging Boat Tours to see the whales is an annual thing, and we are trying somewhere different this year. Booking camp sites was fun!

I am excited! We will spend time camping, fishing, and relaxing. A perfect vacation in Newfoundland! I am also trying to meet my Dad on the West Coast in late August…

My Wedding Anniversary is also in August, it will be our 29th! Hubby and I have been together for 30 years now. Not sure what we will be doing, but I am sure we will find something. That is something to celebrate!

We got tickets to go see Foreigner in October 2025, and I am planning to get tickets for Rick Mercer’s Comedy Tour, also coming in October, that go on sale later today. We haven’t found any concerts we want to attend yet that are happening this summer.

I would love to go see ZZ Top at the end of June, but I can’t stand that long, as there is no seating. I am sure we will find one, if not, that’s okay too!

I went to see the cruise ship, Silver Dawn, on Wednesday past down in the Harbour. It was a beautiful day for their visit! I love downtown St. John’s! I shared a video on YouTube that I took, shared below. So much to see there!

I am enjoying just living in the moment and growing as I go. So many things to be grateful for and celebrate! I hope you find things to celebrate, too, no matter how small.

I hope you all have an awesome weekend and live in the moment!
