Poster: Reactive Abuse
“So, NO you do not get to sit back and judge me on how I reacted to your abuse. Nope”
When someone chooses to launch a smear campaign against you online, hurling false accusations that you know are untrue, they forfeit the right to judge your response.
Defending myself has always been an instinctive reaction to abuse; it’s a fundamental aspect of human nature. I refuse to retreat and allow someone else to dictate who I am or how I should act. They were customers from the workplace, not personal friends who had direct knowledge about my life. How could they truly know me as they claim in this content?
I acknowledge that I made mistakes in this situation, primarily by allowing my emotions to be swayed by the barrage of lies directed at me. I’ve come to realize that these attacks were designed to provoke a reaction. They won’t get one anymore.
