If You Are Going To Disrespect My Privacy, Don’t Expect Me To Respect You! * Repost*
Updated Reflection: How My Voice Has Evolved Since Writing This
When I first wrote the post below, I was still living in the shadow of someone else’s narrative. I was speaking from a place of fear – fear of being misrepresented, fear of being attacked again, fear of giving the anonymous bully behind those websites more ammunition. My voice was cautious because I had spent years being punished for using it.
But that version of me is gone.
Since writing this, I’ve learned that reclaiming your voice isn’t a single moment – it’s a process of unlearning fear, rebuilding trust in yourself, and refusing to let someone else’s lies define your identity. I’ve learned that anonymity gives cowards power only when you stay silent.
And I’ve learned that truth, when spoken consistently and calmly, outlasts every smear campaign.
Back then, I was still trying to justify myself against distortions. Today, I no longer feel the need to defend my existence. I stand firmly on the facts, the documentation, and the reality that has always been on my side. Their websites may have been loud, but they were never truthful – and I no longer carry the weight of their noise.
The biggest change? I no longer write from fear. I write from freedom.
I understand now that speaking openly is not “fueling their narrative” – it’s reclaiming my own. It’s refusing to let anonymous cruelty dictate how I show up in my community, in my life, or in my own story. It’s choosing transparency over intimidation.
The post below captured the moment I stopped hiding. This new reflection captures the moment I stopped caring what they think.
I share it again because it marks a turning point: the moment I chose courage over silence, truth over fear, and my own voice over their attempts to erase it. I’ve grown into someone who no longer flinches at their tactics, because I finally understand that their words only have power if I let them.
And I don’t.
Aug 29, 2024
For too long now, I’ve lived in fear of expressing myself freely and having an authentic voice.
Not Anymore!
An anonymous website was created on April 21, 2019, using my name, https://stellareddy.com, that shares hurtful opinions and one-sided speculation about my personal life without context.
It was designed to disparage and discredit me while protecting the author, who are prior tenants from my last workplace in Ontario in the apartment building of 859 Kennedy Rd, from taking responsibility for the harm they caused me with their websites and their contents.
Seeing my name attached to such negative portrayals and incomplete extracts from my own writings has been incredibly distressing for the past 8 years.
At one point, it made me feel deeply powerless and reluctant to speak out, for fear of further fueling the toxic narrative being spun about me. Not anymore!
No one should have to endure having their character and privacy attacked in this way by hidden critics distorting the truth.
While the site claims to be commenting on filed complaints, so much relevant context is omitted that readers can only get a skewed perspective. They lay out their contents in such a way that my voice has no place there.
They don’t tell you that there was a hearing already scheduled in January 2020 for them to prove their complaints, and they didn’t show up. They also don’t tell you they finally moved out on June 1, 2019, because they knew the Sheriff was coming to lock them out, as they were evicted, and the decision was upheld in the Divisional Court.
So, very important details are left out, and the language used spins everything in the harshest possible light. There is no attempt to understand different viewpoints or to have a respectful discussion. They don’t seem to care about the facts.
They don’t share the FACTS:
- Landlord and Tenant Board Eviction Document released October 3, 2017: TEL-83876-17 (Re), 2017 CanLII 84930 (ON LTB) https://canlii.ca/t/hpbxw
- Divisional Court Document Released April 15, 2019: https://canlii.ca/t/hzs47
- Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario was released on January 22, 2020, after KR & AR didn’t show up for the Hearing by Teleconference: ER v. Liscio, 2020 HRTO 73 (CanLII), <https://canlii.ca/t/j4z4w>, ER v. Liscio, 2019 HRTO 415 (CanLII), <https://canlii.ca/t/hz14r>
The anonymous approach allows the author to try to avoid accountability for spreading misinformation and making unfounded accusations.
Hiding behind a screen gives them free rein to be as cruel and dishonest as they like without facing the social consequences. How can you say anything to anyone when you don’t know who they are? This is a form of online bullying that silences through fear and uncertainty rather than open debate. It is called Cyberbullying.
In any disagreement, both sides deserve to be heard and treated with equal dignity. A one-sided “exposé” that selectively portrays a person in the worst light without their input is not a balanced or ethical way to discuss issues. All it serves to do is inflict harm, not uncover the truth or work towards a resolution. So this website will share my side.
The constant posts referring to me by name feel like a campaign deliberately designed to provoke distress and instill a sense of being under surveillance. I feel like I am being stalked. The lies they tell are outrageous…
I have lived with the constant discomfort of never knowing what fictional details may next be woven into this content about my private affairs and relationships for strangers to read for 8 years. I get the sites suspended for violating policies, and they move to another host! They have done it 26 times in 5 years for this one site!
This kind of harassment is intended to take away my peace of mind and leave me constantly wondering who may have accessed the site and formed negative judgments as a result. My research has shown me this is the point. Thankfully, after 8 years, I have been shown that their words are meaningless without all the important context of the situation that they leave out. Their site is disjointed and all over the place…
Its purpose is to undermine my confidence and discourage me from fully participating in community conversations or publicly expressing care for important issues. They want me to hide from living fully in my Community.
No one should endure having their character smeared and anxieties heightened this way, especially by a faceless tormentor who remains shielded from repercussions. I know who it is, and it is about time everyone else does, too.
The anonymity granted them power over their targets while avoiding responsibility. It is a cowardly form of control that diminishes both parties and time for it to end.
People should not be able to anonymously defame others or spread hurt without checks. We owe it to one another to discuss disagreements respectfully and make an effort to understand different life experiences. If they won’t show their ownership of these malicious websites, I will.
I have asked these tormentors to stop and take down their sites many times over the years, with no success. Now that they are publicly exposing themselves for their political aspirations, I can use this public site to show who they are with no qualms.
Distorting the truth to inflict pain serves no good purpose and only breeds more conflict. Time for the truth to come out.
KR & AR, as noted in the contents of koryread.com, were legally evicted in 2017 for refusing Entry over an extended period. They appealed the decision to the Divisional Court and lost in April 2019. They then moved out before the Sheriff could come and lock them out in June 2019. They then decided to ignore the hearing after 19 months of the process with Human Rights in January 2020. They got mad and created these websites in retaliation.
These websites’ contents created such fear in me of being attacked that I left Ontario in September 2020 to get away from them and the people behind them. Still, they refuse to let me move on and live without these sites in my name. they keep reposting, even going so far as to pay for free speech hosting!
I refuse to be silenced.

My voice matters just as much as anyone else’s, even these Toxic Adult Bullies I had as previous Tenants in the workplace.
In time, I hope that by exposing the anonymous authors of these Smear Campaigns online, the Facts will prevail, not the speculations and innuendoes they make.
For now, all any of us going through trials like this can do is stay strong in our truths and keep faith that light will overcome darkness. We owe it to ourselves to expose our situation to the World and speak for ourselves.
