I’m sharing something different this morning, as I think it is so important for people to have a complete picture of who it is they are supporting in Politics in St. Catherine ON.
This is a website that is publicly available online for anyone to access.
The public needs to be aware that this political campaign is promoting the Adult Bully who also created stellareddy.com, lorriereddy.com, 859kennedyroad.com, davidstrashin.com, sjtomemberkevinlundy.com, sjtomembervandanapatel.com, socialjusticetribualsontario.ca, districtschoolboardofniagara.com, yourwinair.com, roosveltskerrit.com, and stcatherinesanimalhospital.com. The new website is pvslocates.ca
They are trying to become the next Minister of Parliament for the district by trying to force their followers to promote their campaign, and to donate what they can every month, or they will be blocked from their social media. They want the community there to completely finance their political campaign, as they have no funds, all while knowing people are struggling with their own bills.
If this man had honourable intentions for his political campaign, I would say go for it, but I fear it is just another way for them to try and get the attention he craves and their opinions accepted as facts to be believed. They are looking for attention for themselves and their false stories. They want to discredit people for not helping them as they felt they should have. They stick only to the District School Board of Niagara on their site, even though there are other school boards in the area, all because they are mad at them.
My personal opinion, from my experiences with these toxic people, they are desperate for people to accept them and what they have to say. They have made various allegations of racism, bias, and discrimination against so many people over the past 8 years, filed 26 applications with the Social Justice Network of Ontario, as noted on Canlii.org, and created so many smear campaign websites in personal names to make their humiliation of them more personal. Even though none of their applications for Human Rights have ever been adjudicated, they write as if they have been, and they won.
I have done extensive reading recently on how narcissism is prevalent in politics, and with the help of AI this morning, I am sharing this post.
This site represents an independent candidate running for office in St. Catharines, Ontario, and promotes a vision of empowering local residents and enacting direct democracy through his website https://koryread.com. However, a closer examination of his rhetoric and approach suggests possible narcissistic tendencies that warrant scrutiny from voters.
Narcissism, characterized by grandiosity, a lack of empathy, and an exaggerated sense of self-importance, threatens to undermine integrity and effectiveness if left unchecked in political leaders. While all candidates self-promote to some degree, sustained patterns indicative of narcissism merit concern that priority may shift from constituents’ needs to feeding one’s ego.
Toxic Tenant’s campaign materials excessively center around elevating his own reputation rather than community-focused policy substance. Phrases like “join me in this journey” and emphasizing how he alone will “bring change” are self-aggrandizing solicitations that exhibit signs of grandiose leadership fantasies. His repeated use of “I”, “me”, and “my campaign/views” further promotes an inflated ego rather than presenting a collaborative vision.
Additionally, toxic tenants portray challenges facing the community like unemployment in an unrealistic, simplistic manner, solely as the result of his opponent’s failure. This refusal to acknowledge complexity or share responsibility denies accountability, an important trait healthy politicians maintain. His narrative of portraying himself as the sole solution reflects malignant narcissism that threatens divisiveness.
This toxic tenant also repeatedly criticizes the incumbent MP and political parties without recognizing any valid efforts or accomplishments, demonstrating a staggering inability to acknowledge expertise, nuance or faults of one’s own. This type of self-righteous, superiority complex behaviour is a red flag for narcissistic ego preservation at the expense of cooperation.
The toxic tenant conceptual model of direct democracy centralizes too much individual control and focuses attention on himself despite the framed empowerment of others. This ego-centric presentation of plans raises doubts about whether governance would truly prioritize community or serve the leader’s need for attention and praise. Narcissistic visions often conceal ulterior egocentric motives rather than altruism as suggested.
On koryread.com, he invites citizen participation but does not provide concrete policy discussion, instead preferring ego-building promises that “revolutionize politics.” Grandiose pledges to grandstand his capabilities without practical roadmaps to gauge deliverability or humility. Narcissists are famous for unrealistic boasts that fail voters needing pragmatic solutions, not soaring rhetoric.
While most politicians self-promote, sustained patterns of grandiose promises, attacking others without nuance, an inflated sense of importance and entitlement, and inability to accept criticism or acknowledge limitations beyond lip service are cause for legitimate voter concern. Narcissism threatens to derail even well-intentioned agendas if left unrecognized and unaddressed by the candidate and the informed public alike.
Voters must thoughtfully scrutinize candidates for overt and subtle signs of narcissism through sustained research and observation of behaviours over time. While not disqualifying in itself, unmanaged narcissism represents a character vulnerability with real potential to weaken integrity, cooperation and trust in leadership.
KR would be wise to re-center discourse on community values demonstrated through empathetic, pragmatic action rather than personalized charisma alone. An examination of his campaign serves as an example for all citizens to thoughtfully consider how character could impact representation and governance.
Here are some specific ways voters can potentially identify narcissistic traits in koryread.com based on examples from his campaign website:
- excessive self-promotion over detailed policy plans. Read emphasizes vague promises but lacks concrete proposals.
- grandiose claims without realistic implementation details. His pledge to “revolutionize politics” lacks nuanced discussion.
- portraying himself as the sole solution. Read insists the incumbent alone is to blame for all issues without acknowledgment of complexity.
- attacking opponents without concession. He does not recognize any aspect of past representatives’ records or efforts.
- need for praise and admiration. Repeatedly inviting supporters to “join me” seeks ego validation over independent consideration.
- hypocrisy between words and actions. Read promises empowerment but his policy vision centralizes control around himself.
- intolerance of criticism. His dismissal of all challenges as solely the other’s fault denies accountability.
- lack of humility. The absence of admission of limitations despite unrealistic promises raises narcissism flags.
- changing positions for self-interest. Potential flip-flopping on issues depending on expedience warrants monitoring.
- social media persona. Examining posting styles/interaction history for signs like blame, entitlement, and changing stances.
- disregarding the expertise of others. Interviews with local leaders/community members on cooperation, and trustworthiness.
- Paying attention to patterns of these behaviours versus promises alone serves voters interested in separating the image from the underlying character.
