Newfoundland is being hit with another Winter Storm! The article below on the VOCM website states we could get up to 60 cm of snow once it’s all done. It started last night and will run into tomorrow morning. I love the snow, but it is getting difficult for me to walk in it.

They are asking everyone to stay home, as nothing is open anyway. Even some highways have been closed due to drifts and blowing snow.

Yes, hubby has a snow day off work! He has been outside twice already to shovel us out, says the snow added to what we already had, bringing it to over his waist in height. I am glad he can deal with it all!

I will be home for the next few days while I wait for the snow to be cleared so I can walk safely on the sidewalks. This Winter has stopped me from getting outside much, as I am finding it really hard to walk in the snow.  Carrying the extra weight of boots and a heavy winter coat doesn’t help either. One day, I will have to hibernate in the wintertime!

I have not seen this much snow in many years, and the City seems to be struggling with keeping it cleared! I only have to deal with it for another month or 2 here on the Island, so I can manage. Spring is closer and I, for one, can’t wait. I miss being outside in Nature!
