Wildfires in Newfoundland: Holding On to Hope Amid the Smoke
Over 20,000 people have been placed under evacuation alerts, and the fear is real. Just this morning, they evacuated everyone from the area of Three Island Pond Area of Paradise. But there is the strength of this community.
Today, we are aware of a terrible low-pressure system coming to disrupt our lives, as noted on the Weather Network, linked below. I have high hopes that no homes will be lost with the storm surges coming with this one, and no one will be flooded out.
