Toxic Tenants Live In The Past

I have been dealing with a challenging situation recently, as the toxic tenants who created a smear campaign in my name since 2016 have resurfaced once again. Despite my efforts to maintain a positive outlook, their return of stellareddy.com to the same free nameservers with Hostinger International has presented a new set of challenges.

This time, they have gone as far as sharing what they claim to be my current address in NL online, prompting me to take action once again to get it removed. They are trying to drag me back down again, hoping I will “react” and focus on them as individuals rather than just on their behaviour, undoing all the progress I have attained this past couple of years, but I can assure you, that won’t happen.

I have been tirelessly reaching out to various authorities and organizations, including the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, the Niagara Regional Police Service, ICANN, Hostinger International, Rogers Canada, Cogeco Cable, and the Canadian Ministry of Justice. It has become clear that I must advocate for myself in this situation once again, as no one else will take the necessary steps to address the harassment I am facing.

Despite my efforts to have the stellareddy.com domain suspended for copyright infringement, the perpetrators have repeatedly returned to the same nameservers, seemingly undeterred by previous suspensions. I have lodged a formal complaint with ICANN regarding Hostinger’s failure to uphold their own copyright policies and ensure that the domain is not reinstated in violation of these policies.

Although progress has been made with some organizations, such as Cogeco Cable and Hostinger International, further action is pending as I await responses from the authorities and entities involved in investigating and addressing this issue. In the meantime, I have observed that the content on the reactivated website remains unchanged, reflecting the perpetrators’ futile attempts to rewrite the past. They show they refuse to let the situation go and continue to smear me online hoping for a different result than the time before.

I remain steadfast in my resolve to protect my privacy and address the harassment I have endured. While the situation is ongoing, I am hopeful that the collective efforts of the authorities and organizations involved will bring about a resolution that safeguards my rights and puts an end to the malicious actions of those responsible for the smear campaign against me for almost 8 years.

As I navigate through this challenging time, I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from my friends, family, and followers. Their unwavering support has provided me with the strength and courage to stand up against the perpetrators of this harassment and demand justice for the harm they have inflicted upon me.

Despite the adversity I have faced, I refuse to allow these vindictive individuals to silence me or undermine my rights.

As I continue to resist and fight back against the harassment I have endured, I am also mindful of the larger societal implications of such attacks on privacy and personal integrity. The erosion of trust and the proliferation of misinformation in the public sphere have far-reaching consequences that extend beyond the immediate targets of online harassment. It is imperative that we collectively work to hold perpetrators accountable and demand a higher standard of ethical conduct in online communication and discourse.

To combat the insidious tactics of those seeking to harm and discredit others through smear campaigns, we must bolster our legal and regulatory frameworks to address online harassment and protect individual rights. It needs to be easier to access than the slow and costly Civil Court process. This includes enacting and enforcing robust laws that deter and punish those who engage in cyberbullying, defamation, and other forms of online abuse. Additionally, platforms and tech companies must take proactive measures to prevent the spread of harmful content and misinformation on their platforms, while respecting the right to freedom of expression and privacy.

Beyond legal and regulatory reforms, education and awareness-raising efforts are essential in fostering a culture of online civility and responsibility. By promoting digital literacy and media literacy among users of all ages, we can empower individuals to critically evaluate information and navigate the online landscape with greater awareness and discernment. It is incumbent upon all of us to uphold ethical standards of conduct in our online interactions and challenge harmful behaviours that threaten the well-being and rights of others.

On a personal level, the experience of being targeted by a smear campaign has taught me valuable lessons about resilience, self-advocacy, and the enduring power of truth. Despite the adversities I have faced, I have found strength in the solidarity and support of my community and in my own determination to seek justice and demand accountability.

As I look ahead to the eventual resolution of this situation, I remain resolute in my commitment to protecting my rights and upholding the principles of justice and integrity. While the road ahead may be challenging and fraught with obstacles, I am confident that with the support of those who stand by me, I will emerge stronger and more determined than ever to stop these acts in my name.

By shining a light on the dark corners of online harassment and defamation, we can collectively work towards creating a safer, more respectful, and more equitable online environment for all.
