I am ecstatic!! What a beautiful wedding of my oldest son and his Bride!
On the enchanting evening of Saturday, August 12, 2023, my heart swelled with joy as I watched the union of my eldest son and his Bride at the Johnson Geo Center nestled partway up Signal Hill in St. John’s NL. It was a magical celebration of love and unity, where every moment brimmed with tenderness and happiness. It was fabulous!
At that moment, surrounded by the beauty of nature and under the stars, I stood humbled and awe-inspired as I witnessed a profound union unfold before my very eyes. I cried the whole time!! It was amazing I could see anything. I don’t think there was a dry eye anywhere that evening.
It was a very memorable celebration. Everything was planned down to the tiniest detail, and all went smoothly! It was awesome!
As the newly pronounced couple walked back down the aisle, an eruption of applause and cheers filled the air, signifying the collective support and well-wishes of those gathered of family and friends. There was so much love for these 2 people, it was beautiful to see!
Throughout the night, laughter and merriment echoed across the venue as loved ones shared stories, toasted to the couple’s happiness, and danced the night away. The energy was infectious, and it was a testament to the power of love to bring people together in pure bliss. I even danced!
I am honoured to have this young woman as my daughter-in-law and I know these 2 young people will be very happy together. I am blessed that both my children found wonderful partners! I am a very proud Momma!
Looking back on that unforgettable day, I am filled with immense gratitude for having been a part of such a remarkable celebration. It was a reminder that love knows no bounds, and when two souls find their way to one another, it is a cause for profound celebration. I know they will be very happy together!
May their journey be filled with endless love, laughter, and cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
I still have some family here for another few days and will be busy the rest of the week, but I will return once again in time!
In another week or so I get the joy of celebrating my 27th Wedding Anniversary! Time goes by so fast… Enjoy every minute of it that you can!
