                                        Petition is for ALL Residents of Canada

                                                       Re: Doxxing in Canada

I am relieved to see this! I know it will still take some time for this to be passed by the House of Commons but I am one step closer!!

Once this Bill is passed, I will have a way to go after the creators of all those websites.

Yes, it is very important to me that the creators of stellareddy.com be held accountable for what they have done in my name, that hasn’t changed. No one should be a target of Adult Bullies online, especially for 8 years, all because they want revenge for their eviction in 2017 due to their own behaviour.

I should not have to worry about Identity Theft all because some strangers from a past workplace got mad at me and decided to share my private information online in a domain they created in my name to do that in.

I came across this page yesterday, by accident while looking for something else, and when I started reading this, my heart did skip a beat… I even read this a few times, just to make sure I was reading it correctly.

I have been waiting 8 years for something like this to get passed in the House of Commons so please, spread the word and get as many signatures as we can! More the Merrier!! I already shared it on my Social Media yesterday…

It is time Canada passed legislation like this to protect people like me online from Bullies.

Please, sign this petition,
Thank You!

“Doxxing—the unauthorized and malicious release of private information to harm or intimidate—alongside digital harassment, infringes on Canadians’ rights to privacy, safety, and free expression, leaving victims vulnerable to threats, harassment, and harm;

Canadians, including licensed professionals, employees, employers in regulated professions, and other business owners, targeted by doxxing may face unjust penalties from employers, professional associations, or regulatory bodies based on reputational harm rather than verified misconduct;

The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantees freedom of expression (Section 2(b)) and security of the person (Section 7), yet these rights are compromised when individuals face threats from doxxing and intimidation; and

Protective legislation is necessary to penalize doxxing perpetrators and deter these abuses, ensuring Canadians’ rights and security in the digital age.

We, the undersigned, Citizens and Residents of Canada, call upon the House of Commons in Parliament assembled to

1. Define and criminalize doxxing and digital harassment to target actions intended to harm, intimidate, or expose individuals to harassment;

2. Establish penalties for those engaging in or supporting doxxing, including fines and imprisonment for severe offences;

3. Prevent employers, professional associations, and regulatory bodies from penalizing individuals solely based on reputational harm caused by doxxing, unless independently substantiated; and

4. Empower victims of digital harassment by providing clear legal avenues for recourse, such as restraining orders, civil actions, and support resources.

This legislation will protect all Canadians’ digital privacy, deter malicious intimidation, and uphold the Charter’s guarantees of free expression and personal security.

Please sign to support a safer, freer Canada that defends its citizens from digital harassment and protects the rights guaranteed by the Charter.
