Lighthouses of Newfoundland and Labrador

I leave you today with a video from Tourism NL on YouTube of the various Lighthouses we have here in this awesome Province.

As an Island, you can appreciate the need for these! Some of our shorelines are pretty rocky and have taken many boats that got too close to shore.

I find these beautiful, especially the older ones. Some have been here for 100’s of years! I hope you enjoy this short video! Please, feel free to let me know what you think!

    1. Thanks, Pooja! They are majestic to look at…and most are still in operation. You can still go into some of them and walk up to the top… Hmm.. I haven’t done that in many years, might be a trip to do this summer.. lol

      1. You’re very welcome! They really are beautiful and I didn’t know there were so many in Newfoundland. Ooh yes, that would be fun.
