If someone hates you, they will go out of their way to create more reasons to perpetuate that hate. So I could be the nicest person in the world, but toxic tenants would never acknowledge any of that, as they ONLY want things to hate me over.
Reflecting on the emotional toll of imposed obligations, I’ve shed these “shoulds” and external pressures. My husband and I reclaimed our independence, moving away from toxic environments. Now, focusing on living authentically, I prioritize self-care, hobbies, and connections that foster balance, well-being, and personal freedom.
